This Mathematics course is designed for secondary school students from Senior One (S1) to Senior Six (S6). It follows the approved secondary school mathematics curriculum and supports learners at every level, from basic foundations to advanced concepts.
The course builds strong numerical skills, logical thinking, and problem-solving abilities through step-by-step lessons, worked examples, practice exercises, and assessments. Learners are guided gradually from arithmetic and algebra to geometry, trigonometry, statistics, and calculus, depending on their level.
This course prepares students for school assessments and national examinations, including UNEB O-Level (S4) and A-Level (S6). It also helps learners apply mathematics confidently in real-life situations, further education, and future careers in science, technology, business, and engineering.
The lessons are structured to be easy to understand, self-paced, and suitable for both classroom support and independent study.
By the end of this Mathematics course, learners will be able to:
Demonstrate strong understanding of mathematical concepts appropriate to their level (S1–S6)
Perform accurate calculations involving numbers, fractions, percentages, and algebraic expressions
Solve mathematical problems using logical reasoning and systematic methods
Apply geometry and measurement concepts to real-life situations
Interpret graphs, tables, and data correctly
Use trigonometry, statistics, and probability where applicable to their level
Develop confidence in handling school tests and national examinations
Prepare effectively for UNEB O-Level (S4) and A-Level (S6) mathematics examinations
Apply mathematical skills in everyday life, further education, and future careers
S1–S2: Build strong arithmetic and foundational math skills
S3–S4: Master algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and exam techniques
S5–S6: Apply advanced mathematics including calculus, vectors, and statistics
